Both cyclists and truck drivers need to be aware of vehicle blind spots. Here is a simple image showing where a truck can see a cyclist and where they can’t.

Notice in the center image that the truck will have a difficult time seeing a cyclist on the right side. This is especially dangerous when a truck is about to make a right turn.
